Tutorial Rooms and Problem-Based Learning Implementation
In line with the shift towards modern medical education, the Faculty of Medicine, Unpad, has implemented the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method as its core teaching approach. This shift has resulted in the conversion of traditional lecture halls into tutorial rooms. Designed to support student-centered learning, each tutorial room is intentionally structured to accommodate only 10-12 students.
The tutorial rooms are equipped with various facilities to enhance interactive learning, including:
- A mini library for additional literature resources.
- Computers with internet access.
- Continuous access to online journals for research and academic reference.
- Some rooms are fitted with air conditioning and LCD projectors to facilitate presentations.
Currently, the FK Unpad Jatinangor campus boasts 70 tutorial rooms spread across three main buildings: A2, A4, and A5. These facilities are aimed at providing an optimal learning environment, fostering clinical skills development, and enhancing student-teacher interactions in a case-based learning process.
