Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Padjadjaran, highlights the institution’s progress in achieving employee gender equality. Recent data shows that the graph shows a nearly equal distribution of male and female lecturers (232 men and 242 women), indicating a balanced representation of academic roles. This parity is a testament to FK Unpad’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities for both sexes. However, the gender ratio among non-academic staff (Tendik) shows a significant disparity, with 139 men and 70 women.
Although there is room for improvement in balance in non-academic positions, the overall data suggest that FK Unpad is on the right track to meet the SDG 5.1.2 criteria. By promoting gender equality and addressing these gaps, FK Unpad can further enhance its efforts to create a more equitable workplace for all employees.
