Gender Ratio of Students at FK Unpad Shows Strong Female Representation
Recent data from the Faculty of Medicine, students of Universitas Padjadjaran (FMUP) indicate a significant gender imbalance in favor of female students. Out of a total of 301 students, 209 are women, while only 92 are men. This results in a striking 2:1 female-to-male ratio on campus, highlighting the growing trend of women pursuing higher education at FK Unpad.
This data aligns with the goals of SDG 5.1.1, which focuses on eliminating gender disparities and ensuring equal opportunities in education for both men and women. FK Unpad’s strong representation of female students showcases its role in fostering an inclusive educational environment where women are encouraged to pursue academic and professional growth. As more women take steps towards earning degrees, this trend further promotes gender equality within the campus community.
