Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Medical Students at Universitas Padjadjaran: Class of 2023

In 2023, Universitas Padjadjaran’s Faculty of Medicine welcomed a new cohort of 301 full-time equivalent (FTE) students pursuing their undergraduate medical degree. This diverse group represents a balanced effort by the university to provide quality medical education to a growing number of aspiring doctors, reinforcing its commitment to advancing healthcare professionals in Indonesia.

Of the 301 new students, 92 are male, and 209 are female, reflecting a significant representation of women entering the medical field. This gender distribution highlights an increasing trend of female students pursuing medical careers, a positive shift towards gender equity in healthcare education.

With this strong influx of students, Universitas Padjadjaran continues to shape the future of healthcare in Indonesia, nurturing future doctors who will contribute to improving the nation’s health standards. The Faculty of Medicine provides these students with comprehensive training, hands-on clinical experiences, and a supportive academic environment to ensure their success as future medical professionals.
